Introductory Acting, Singing, and Movement Class for the Young Performer

$150, with one time registration fee of $25

For students in grades K-2

This class is designed for the beginner who loves the continual process of creative imagination. Young performers will enjoy experiences in acting, singing, dancing,  and costumes. Each class will use games and short scenes based on fairytales and popular musicals to help students explore their creative side and become comfortable with simple acting techniques.

 

There will be special performances for family and friends the last week of class.

Best of Broadway Camp

Best of Broadway Camp

Open to children in grades K-5.

$125/child.  New students also subject to one time registration fee of $25.  (Sibling discount- only one registration per family)

Camp Dates July 13-17, 2020

From the page to the stage, students will dive into music, acting, and simple dance techniques from some of the Best Broadway shows!  In this camp, children will learn vocal techniques, such as: phrasing, breathing,  and pitch control.  They will learn simple choreography and characterization. Camp is from 1 pm to 5 pm, July 13-17, with a special performance for friends and family at 4:30 pm on the last day of camp.

Shakespeare Summer Workshop

Open to teens and tweens in grades 6-12.

Camp Dates:  August 3-7, 2020

1 pm – 5 pm

Performers will dig deep into the ways Shakespeare leads actors through the text. Students will draw upon their own experience, as well as techniques learned in class to explore multiple characters in an ensemble performance. There will be a performance at 4:30 pm on the last day of camp.

Beginning Acting Technique, Scene Study, and Monologues

For students in grades 3-8

This class is intended for any student who dreams of being on the stage, but has little-to-no experience. 

 

Thinking of becoming a public speaker? This class will help you too!  

 

Students will learn the art of characterization, (bringing a character to life) how to make brave choices with those characters, and discover how to navigate a scene within the mindset of these characters. 

 

Students will also learn basic acting and presentation skills by performing monologues.  There will be special performances for family and friends during the last week of class.

Acting, Voice, Movement, and Performance Class for All Skill Levels

$150, with one time registration fee of $25

For students in grades 3-8

This is the prefect class for any students who want that “Triple Threat” experience! 

 

They will learn how to tell their character’s story through song and basic choreography, as well as how to transition from speaking to singing, and back again. 

 

Students will gain hands-on experience performing Broadway style numbers and learn how to prepare for an audition. 

 

There will be  special performances for family and friends the last week of class.
